If it seems like people have been on a green tea binge as of late, you’ve got that healthy habit down. I am so very excited about all the positive research about the benefits of green tea. The exciting news keeps on coming. Nonetheless, you need to also read more than just my review. I mean after all I am only your neighborhood reporter and beauty goddess. (You probably didn’t know that there was actually my official title, did you?) Here is a small list of widely available, peer-reviewed information:
• 2001 International Journal of Cancer
Green tea is well known for helping prevent many different chronic diseases. This was a study that was done using people and not animals, for analysis. You certainly aren’t dealing with fish and green tea. We are talking about actual people in China.
• 2003 International Journal of Cancer
Angiogenesis and some forms of cancer can actually be kept at bay by drinking green tea. These cancers can’t develop without angiogenesis happening in your blood cells. The healthy habit of green tea can actually help inhibit the growth of cancer already in existence.
• 2006 Journal of American Medical Association
Carcinogenic deaths have really decreased due in part to green tea. Studies showed that those who drink more green tea happen to have lower cancer mortality rates. In short, green tea is a really great cancer inhibitor.
• 2009 American Journal of Epidemiology
Blood and lymph cancers can be held at bay by green tea. A new study out of Japan showed that if you drink about 5 cups of green tea daily it can cut the probability of you developing any of these issues by 50 percent.
Just imagine, those are just four out of thousands….
So, as you have read, green tea is truly a healthy habit you should keep. If you do not already have the habit, then start working on it right now. So you should really believe me and start a great new habit that will be better for you in the long run. Take a supplement or brew your own, either way you are getting beneficial nutrients. Try it in a capsule if you don’t like the taste. Whatever way you decide to get your daily green tea, you can have confidence knowing that you are taking steps to having a long and health life.
